Happy Holidays from the Halls

With all of the hustle and bustle this season, we didn't even get the most simple Christmas card out, but we hope everyone has had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

We had a wonderful Christmas together with the boys. Our first Christmas back in Idaho was a white one. All month we enjoyed doing Christmas crafts and Advent calendars with Liam. I think his favorite gifts this year were his marble run and Planet Heroes action figures. Ronin's favorite part? New foods! He has definitely made the most of not being the first child in this scenario! Ronin was allowed to try (and loved) french fries, eggnog, cranberries, and this orange. Thanks Grandmas and Grandpas!

Family fun

What fun we have been having the past few weeks. All of a sudden, all at once, Ronin has 5 teeth, pulls himself to standing, crawls, says "Dada," and eats solid foods! He is working ever so hard to catch up to his big brother. Liam and Ronin love to make each other laugh and Liam has enjoyed showing his brother off to all of the out of town Christmas guests. It's so cute to see them interacting with each other!

Motivation to crawl

For Liam, it was the cell phone. For Ronin, it was the pretty lights on the Christmas tree. Yes, he did start crawling and yes, he did bring the tree down!IMG_2162IMG_2164 IMG_2165

3 years old!

A few weeks back, Liam had his 3rd birthday party. He is suddenly such a big kid, using sentences with "because" in them and saying words like "interrupted" and "plutonium crystals." Liam loves to walk to preschool and play with Ronin and potty training...we're getting there.DSC_0112DSC_0086
